Rahul Ravi was born on 21st December 1988 to Ravi Ramu and Kshema Ravi in Triprayar (Valapad), Thrissur. His sister Varsha is a Dancer in Nadana Saathwika – The School Of Dance. He completed his secondary education at St Antonys High School, Pazhuvil. He did his B.Tech in IT from Matha College of Technology, North Paravur and his masters from ICFAI University. He is also interested in body building and stage performances. On 27 December 2020, Rahul married his girlfriend Lakshmi S Nair in Perumbavoor. Rahul height 180 cm and Weight 65 kg. He has a black color hair and a dark brown eye. He belongs to the Hindu religion and the details of the caste are unknown.
Film Career
Rahul Ravi is a South Indian actor, anchor and Model, who has largely appeared in Malayalam language films. He began his career as a Model. After finishing his studies, he worked in a company for one and half years. Then he went for graduate higher studies and decided to move overseas looking for better job options, he have been doing some modeling missions. He became confident about his talent after participating in a competition he emerged as a second runner up. This was the begining his profession. He’s winner of Hairomax Beautiful hair competition 2011. He’s looking forward to getting more opportunity.
Rahul’s first acting assignment was in Shalil Kallur’s Dolls as the main antagonist of the character Dr.Anoop. The movie was released on 15th and started to negative reviews. His second film was the director of Sathyan Anthikad, Oru Indian Pranayakadha film together with Amala Paul, and produced by Rajesh Thiruvallom. The movie was a sleeper hit despite competition from Drishyam. And Rahul plays the role of Johan. Rahul movie was Dial 1091 Malayalam film, directed by Santo Thattil. His next Malayalm movie Actor Mukesh’s Kattumakkan along with Eden Kuriakosse. The movie introduces Rahul as hero. This is the second directorial of Shalil Kallur following Dolls, a 2013 release.
Rahul debuted as a TV actor through Malayalam superhit serial Ponnambili along with Malavika Wales, led by Gireesh Konni. He plays the role of Haripadmanabhan, the protagonist of this serial. The popularity and very good reviews of Television serial helped Rahul to became a popular television actor. He made his Kollywood debut Tamil supernatural television show Nandini reverse of Nithya Ram, headed by Raj Kapoor and produced by Kushboo. The serial is aired all south indian languages. Rahul Ravi became well-known and effective after playing the lead role, as Arun. Ever since then, he’s also recognized as Arun. He hosts a dance reality show D 4 Dance season 4 together with Alina Padikkal in Mazhavil Manorama.
Rahul got the opportunity from Telugu business. Rahul made his Telugu introduction like a hero in a Telugu drama movie Chethilo Cheyyesi Cheppu Bava together with Nakshatra Srinivas, led by Rajendra prasad. He collaborated with popular actresses like Rekha Krishnappa, Shreya Anchan, Meera Muralidharan, Mamilla Shailaja Priya, Vandana Brundha and Sandra Babu. Actor Bipin Jose has replaced Rahul Ravi in the successive Chocolate on Surya TV. Rahul was seen playing the role Vikram in the show. His Malayalam movie Is Adukkalayil Paniyundu together with Nithya Ram, led by KK Menon. From 2019 to 2020, Rahul played Vikram in Sun TV's Chocolate opposite Priyanka Kumar.
